1. Principle of private use & responsibility

This website is a purely private hobby project. No commercial activity takes place. The hobby beekeeping operation, Bienchen, is also run purely as a hobby without any intention of making a profit. 2. Technology & Third-Party Providers (Disclaimer)

We use the Wix website builder. As we are merely users of the platform, we have no influence on its technical data processing. We are not liable for errors, data breaches, or security vulnerabilities on the part of the provider.

3. Security & House Rules on Site (October 31)

The information on this page refers to our private Halloween house. For visitors:

  • At your own risk: Visits are entirely at your own risk. We are not liable for accidents or property damage suffered by visitors.

  • Video surveillance: The premises are under video surveillance to prevent burglary and vandalism. Recordings are only handed over to the police in the event of a crime and are otherwise deleted after the legally mandated period. This is due to negative experiences in the past.

  • Right of domicile: We reserve the right to remove persons from the premises in case of inappropriate behavior and, if necessary, to call the police.

  • Damage to property: In case of damage to the (partially handmade) decorations, full compensation must be paid (replacement price/identical model). Parents are liable for their children.

  • Food and drinks: The provision of drinks/food in exchange for a donation is a purely private act of kindness. Consumption is at your own risk. Ingredients are declared on site.

4. Data collection (Honest disclosure)

We (Nico & Heike) are not interested in your data. We do not actively collect, store, or analyze any personal data.

  • No forms: We do not use contact forms or newsletters.

  • Wix statistics: Technically necessary data (e.g., IP address) that Wix collects for security purposes is beyond our access.

  • Update: We regularly check this page for errors, but do not guarantee its continuous availability.

5. Your rights (according to GDPR)

Since we do not store any of your data, we cannot delete or analyze any. However, you theoretically have the following rights vis-à-vis the data controller (Articles 15-21 GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, and objection. All content (texts, logo, photos of decorations and beekeeping) is subject to our private copyright. Copying or use without our written permission is prohibited.
